Tradition number......
1. Christmas Eve, place the mattress under the tree in the living room and watch a christmas movie before going to bed. We watched "The Holiday" (but couldn't finish because we were soo tired!)
2. Fill the Stockings making sure no-one is looking and place them back on the hooks before shut eye.
3. Wake up Christmas Morning under the christmas tree!!! We started opening our stockings! Soo many fun goodies!
4. I made Blueberry Buckel - a traditional treat my mom makes every christmas. (my taste of home..) And we had coffee to go with! Yum! (It turned out PERFECT for it being my first time!!
5. Open gifts taking turns one at a time! Switching between Adelstein Parents, Evans Parents and eachother's gifts.
6. For a Linner - Since Chris had to work at three...I made Cornish Hens, cranberry jelly, corn on the cob, creamy garlic mashed potatoes, rolls (didn't make these...yet to learn.) and sparkling Apple Cider. Sooo good.
7. Play. With all your toys. All night long. haha. - Although Chris had to work 3-10 and I went to our Maui Family's home to join them for the evening. But First I skyped with my Family minus Caleb and Ava!! We just visited and made food. It was fun, but I really missed being with my Mr. So I went down at 8:30 and hung with him for the remainder of the evening. :) Then we came home and got to play!!!

This was a GREAT day. I loved everything about it - except my hours without Chris, but It was a Blessed Christmas. I am soo grateful and thankful for all we have, for the people in my life, for the food we were able to eat, for the roof over our heads and for Baby Jesus who is the most amazing of all.
