Can't Wait :)

Someday my Prince and I will make a little us. I can't wait for that day. Being home for 2.5 days I had quite a bit of baby time and LOVED it. My last days in Maui I also got baby time in. It makes me all warm inside, the thought of having something that is the most incredible love of my life. A little person to teach, watch grow, kiss booboos, read to, get hugs and kisses for no reason and much more than that. YaY! The future excites me. Here is a photo from a FAVorite photographer, Aubrey! She mainly does weddings and engagements, but I found this on her website :)

a little bit tattered. (a MUST go to etsy account.)

My dear friend Kristine has hand-made these beautiful pieces of jewelry. I love them. I ordered treasured. No matter how many people call me fat, ugly, ask if they could wax my eye brows, tell me I should get a boob job and wear high heels I know that the Lord my God treasures me just the way I am. He loves me inside and out and wouldn't ask me to change a thing. It means a whole lot when the world has soo much pressure to be a certain perfect, or even when loved ones don't appreciate you so. God does. Treasures and loves us tattered and all.

Moving Party!!!

I want to give a HUGE shout out to all those that helped with our move and are still helping be rid of all of our extra stuff!!!
Mom, Dad, Aunt Vicki, Tyler, Buddy, Jake, Uncle Kris, Cousin Jake, Talia, Sarah, Mark, Chris Illman, Uncle Russ, Heather, Christian, Katie's boyfriend, and anyone else I missed if you so much as lifted a box we sincerely thank you!!! I cannot believe the amount of STUFF chris and I had. WOW. So it was an entire day of going through things, packing the truck and then dumping left-overs at aunt vickis. YIKES!. Looong day followed by another long day. 23.5 hrs straight driving by my husband alone. He is amazing. Tyler came with us to help with the lifting and unloading of things since i have an 80yr olds back. hah. We were able to stop in Oregon to have dinner with Grandpa Sinclair (Chris and Tylers Grandpa). We had a lovely coffee time and meal with him and his lady Ginger. Soo nice to get caught up. A nice little break from the road too. When we arrived there was no sleep to be had....just more unpacking and unpacking. Tyler was here for just a few days. We were able to go to the San Diego Zoo as our one fun thing. SOO fun. A nice and NEEDED break too. Then after and before everything fun still continued more errands or un-packing. We gathered two HUGE batches of things to consign, pawn and donate. I can't believe though we are actually seeing light at the end of the tunnel! I figure in a few weeks the house should be good to go with only a few projects left to do :) YAY! Chris has his first meeting today with the new boss. He is supposedly going to be Manager in the Macys at Fashion Valley! (the mall he wanted.!) I can't wait to hear how it goes. Once I know his schedule and exact location I will begin to look for a job as well. wow. What a process moving is. We have yet to make friends, find a bank we want, get involved in a church, young life, sports I wanted to play and still learning about hott places to eat and events we must attend! Life doesn't look like it will be slowing down any time soon! Kinda nice that way though :) I already miss my Ileta and Bookland Family terribly. Maui's ocean is calling my name every day. I am going to embrace this place though and just be happy about the day I visit my once home, again.

Here are some photos of the moving day and the zoo!!!

I promise I'm alive....just trapped under a million boxes...

{the first load of donations....YIKEs!}

Ah! So we moved, officially. As in we are in our place in San Diego after a 23.5 straight up drive from border to border - WA to CA. We have been working non-stop trying to go through things we havn't had for 2.5 years. We have been pulling aside half or more of each group of things (bathroom, bedroom, kitchen items, books, dvds etc.) for consignments and second hand stores. It's been rather cleansing for the most part, sad for the other...getting rid of things that hold precious past memories. (We went from having a two bedroom with a full garage stuffed with things to a one bedroom apartment with no storage.) This weekend to this coming week we should be basically caught up and almost completely settled. This coming week I will be applying to several places for employment as Chris will resume working at the sunglass hut on the 27th. His BIRTHDAY is the 23rd! We will be celebrating somehow...wether it be a drive and camping trip or a nice dinner and dessert at home...it will be great! I can't wait to have a job - chris be back at work - knowing we have an income....come home and kick back with coffee to watch our favorite show, read on the bed etc. I am ready for things to be just done. Clean, organized, personalized and just in a good flow of life. We are starting to crash and starting to get caught up on sleep. We got 12hrs. last night. HA. Can't wait to see what we will accomplish this weekend. :) I am sorry I havn't been able to write about things lately - such as my visit home, and the zoo and time with Tyler, and the treasures I've been coming across...:) It will come. Once things slow down I might have to double time the posts! Have a great weekend all! We will be preparing our home for at LEAST a year of life. hah. It will be a WHILE before we move again!

wish list.... :)

i WAnt thiS for Our neW hoMe!!!

Getting Settled....? as much as we can for now!

Ok, so maybe we feel a little guilty as our poor pets are being watched in a strange place as we have been taking care of "moving" details. We will have furniture here next week, nice furniture....so we want the cats to have a place that is theirs to destroy. hah. The blinds are perfect for them thank goodness, so they will have that corner, window and all. Chris and I have been just driving all around...checking things out, trying different food, comparing prices..the average learning about your new home stuff. There are certain items for the house we know we need; bar stools, area rug and entry-way rug, coffee table, Chris' Daddy chair (chris called it that :) Cute) he was also talking about getting a bigger bed with knowledge of a little one climbing in there...ah he is melting my heart with this baby talk lately. We've been taking notes and in the meantime finding other darling places to shop and or eat. Today we were in Ocean Beach looking in SEVeral antique shops. LOVE it. I have a certain passion for antiques, collections, treasures, mom's, grandma's, great grandmas things that they loved way back when! As I was seeing all these precious things filled with history, i realized how many antique items I have!! When I unpack them, I will do a post about it :) I personally would NEVER be rid of these things, I have no idea how people do it. Desperation for the evil green money I guess. Chris and I tried out our hot-tub this evening! FUN! We also were asked to go to church with my brothers best friend John Slagle and his wife Heidi and then they treated us to lunch! So Kind! They gave us some information that will be helpful and took us to the most REFREShing restaurant (they are the only people we know here..)Well, tomorrow we are doing laundry, visiting the cats, packing carry-ons and going to bed early to wake for our flight to WASHINGTON!!!!! AHHHHH I am SOOO excited!!! MANY people I know and love SOO deeply have gone through many hard things over these 6 months of me being gone, and it's been very hard to be so helpless. I can't wait to HUG them soo hard and long. Everyone else I can't wait to see too like my FAMILY! :) AHH. I am going to The Rustic Coffee to bring back the best coffee ever :) And to Zuanich Park, my favorite place in the world. I am just excited :) My Grandpa Murphy from St. Louis will be there the day we fly in! ah. life is good. I wish the time were longer....but I am excited to get our things back, fill our home, and start our new life here in San Diego. I am nervous about finding a job although God has been so faithful to us, I am not going to let that worry get to me. I hope you all had a fantastic Mothers Day Weekend! Peace out.
