i have expressed HOW amazing my Mother is to me. i have expressed (not hardly enough,) how i would love to be like her in many ways. but in case you DoNt know...or have just started reading my blog...my Mother is a master at many trades. the one i'm focusing on tonight is "the secret garden". she has always be quite talented with flowers, gardening, home design and floral design. i would say it's been her passion, since it wasn't her career (besides the occasional wedding of being the florist.) since it was her passion, it was something she enjoyed to do. me seeing her LOVE this made me want to partake in the joy. i never learned all the things about this and that seed or bulb, what that flower is...if that bush is poisonous or not..she taught me to be more creative with arrangements..to always use odd numbers, in wreaths and table decor. she was organized and crafty creative all at the same time. so her yard was nothing less than DARLING. not one person would come over without commenting on some sort of flower, the patio, the fire place the yard...you get the picture. so. thinking of what I want to do when we move...floral design has always been on my top 5 career choices. i hope we will get a place with some sort of a gardening section as well...anyhow. i could make and sell wreaths...on etsy or in darling boutiques. i could work at a local floral shop. i could do arrangements on the side like my mom did, for small weddings and such. so many things I have in mind for my own yard someday and what i want to do with it, this is just a start to begin formulating my thoughts about "my perfect secret garden."
